The low tax rate in Singapore (around 7% for this salary level) makes this an especially attractive position. You would have to be earning in the high £70's / 80's to match the take home pay in the UK. Working in the heart of the financial district, within a 5 minute walk of the lively bars and al fresco dining at Boat Quay and the many other places of interest near the office. This is a well rounded Business Development and Marketing role. Working for an international office you will required to play a very hands on role, with the support of a secretary and BD/Mktg people in HK and other offices. As with most positions of this type, production of materials to win new business (pitches, proposals, credentials documents, tenders) is a key area of responsibility and as such prior experience is required. You'll also be involved and should have prior experience in: Managing key client programmes; Raising the profile of the office through tailored press releases and keeping in touch with the key journalists; Researching companies, countries and sectors; Managing legal directory submissions; Identifying opportunities to promote the firm to clients and potential clients; Production of internal and external communications (newsletters, publications, ebulletins etc). Experience: You will have a background in providing Business Development and Marketing support for a professional services firm. You will have experience of implementing client and account management initiatives. Experience of running training and coaching sessions for non business developers would be valuable Knowledge of the Energy sector would be useful as would the ability to speak Mandarin. You will be commercially aware, confident and a superb communicator. Enthusiasm, tenacity, energy and humour are also highly regarded. |
