A leading golbal Law firm is seeking a Client Development Advisor for their London office. Based within the Client Development Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day relationship management and BD support for a small number of the firm's key bank clients with the objective of developing and strengthening those relationships. The Client Development Adviser may also work on wider BD initiatives across the firm, as required, including in relation to the rollout of client development best practice.
Key accountabilities will range from account planning (undertanding client's businesses and strategies) to Client team co-ordination (ensuring effective client team structure and robust internal communication infrastructure). Other responsibilities will include attending a number of client meetings, for example, formal and informal client review meetings, as well as acting as a key point of contact for the client; maintaining contact with fee earners on secondment to the client and ensuring that any client developments or opportunities are identified quickly and reported back to the client development team and coordinating or participating in projects within BD more widely, as required.
