Based in Beijing, the BD Executive will provide BD support to the China offices of a leading global law firm. Responsible for coordinating business development activities and supporting their strategies across the region, this is an ever evolving role that will expand based on the needs of both the team and the firm.
The BD Executive will be undertaking regular market, competitor and client analysis to identify potential BD projects/targets; they will adopt a Key Account Management process for the group’s key clients and prospects and work with partners in the group and across the wider firm to target key clients for cross-selling. Additional tasks will range from project managing pitches to effective profile raising.
If you would like to apply for this role you must have pitching & capability statement collation experience and 2-4 years BD or marketing experience. Key account management would be an advantage as would being a native language speaker. You will have solid awareness of current affairs, be a keen reader of legal and marketing press and hold good drafting/writing abilities. With a high level of attention to detail, you will be at ease liaising with people at all levels and be able and willing to suggest constructive ways of improving the overall efficiency of the department.
